What is your primary product or service?
Knowledgeable staff assist you with suggestions of lighting to compliment your personal design, as well as providing lighting designs. We specialize in unique lighting from contemporary to traditional designs. We are experts in Lighting Control Systems and LED light sources.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We were fascinated how important lighting is with regard to complimenting home décor as well as making people feel "comfortable". As a previous corporate events manager I learnt about the importance of lighting while planning events and stage presentations.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We listen to clients expectations regarding their personal design tastes and the light output they want. We consult with clients in detail sharing our knowledge in design and technology. Being "Good" is not enough for us, we strive to be "Exceptional" with our customer service, knowledge and respectfulness.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location in Sarasota. Plans to expand ? - who knows what the future will bring ?

Situated on The East side of 41, (Tamiami Trail), Light Up Your Life is between 16th & 17th Street; one mile North of Fruitville and three miles South of the Ringling Museum / University Parkway.
What type of payments do you accept?
All credit cards and checks.
Which areas do you service?
Mainly Sarasota, St. Pete, Tampa, and Fort Myers but we have also worked for Out-of-State clients.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Owners: Susan & Moritz Inderbinen Operations Manager: Monika Oberer Floor Manager: John Collins
What are your hours of operation?
We are open to the public Monday through Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 11am - 3pm. Private appointments / site visits can be arranged outside our store opening hours.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Our business is honest, and we work purely in the interest of our clients wishes. None of the employees work on commission, we work as a team sharing important information about jobs so that all are informed. Having these points acknowledged is appreciated. We are often complimented on the presentation of our store and display as it is unlike any other lighting store in Florida.
