How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
For one to be able to repair and restore china and porcelain flawlessly they must initially have an artistic gift to sculpt, match color, and imitate intricate designs with a tiny paint brush. These basic abilities are genetic and cannot be taught. In addition to this, one must then spend years of practice to channel and perfect this gift to the point that any and every damaged item that is brought to them can be restored flawlessly. A true restorer can never turn down a restoration challenge. I come from a family of artisans and artists who as a young boy spent many years of my childhood creating intricate things from clay for hours only to destroy them and rebuild them again. I obsessively repeated this exercise over and over again for days, months and even years because I loved the idea of making something damaged whole and perfect again. Later on in life I did furniture repair and restoration at my fathers antique store and early on started repairing large plaster pieces and ceramics. After I perfected the art of repairing plaster and ceramic, I began to repair and rebuild items made from china, porcelain and later glass. Through the years I've developed my own paints, enamels, glazes, and techniques that both imitate the look of porcelain and china yet never crackle or yellow over time. Roughly 60% of my trade is innate artistic ability, 20% experience, and 20% science.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I am the only one in this area and I am among the few in the world who can repair and rebuild porcelain and china flawlessly. Furthermore there has never been a damaged item that I could not repair and restore flawlessly.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I am a one man operation and I have one location.

We are located at 1542 Fruitville Rd. Sarasota Fl. 34236 between orange Ave. and Lime Ave. Take the Fruitville Rd. exit going west into downtown Sarasota. The store is on your left immediately after you cross Orange Ave. but you must do a U-turn at Lime Ave. because there is a median in the road. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call 941-320-0365 to make an appointment

Which areas do you service?
I service all of Florida and also have much of my work shipped from out of the state.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
I am the sole owner and manager of my company.
What are your hours of operation?
I work 7 days a week. Monday through Sunday 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and I will also receive calls during that time.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
My restorations are perfect.
